
When I first imagined Discerning Diner, my intention was to help other people like myself who struggle with finding healthy food options while being a very picky eater. However as the idea formed more in my mind over time I have begun to realize, that being healthy is more about an entire lifestyle not just the food that you eat. A discerning diner is someone who can see and understand situations, i.e. a healthier lifestyle, clearly and intelligently and partake (dine) of it.
That was when my idea changed. I realized that I not only struggled with finding ways to eat healthy, but to live healthy. I will now encompass they entire journey for a full and healthy life. There are many contributing factors to health. As I embark on this journey, I will do my best to give insights into not only the eating habits I adopted to feel healthier. I will share all of the changes I made to my life that have effected my well-being. My hope is to help others like myself find their own journey.
Being healthy is not just about the food we eat, it encompasses our entire body and mind. In this exploration, we will touch on all aspects. From supporting our body with appropriate footwear, which will align our physical body, to finding exercise/physical activity that best suits us as individuals.
